The M6 Boat Air Conditioning System
- For Boats up to 30' or 550 cu. ft. Cabins/Sleeping Compartments
The M6 boat air
conditioning unit is available in right, left or top air discharge, and
Cool Only, Cool/Reverse Cycle Heat, or Cool/Electric Heat configurations. Designed for
cruisers up to 27' and sailboats up to 30', the M6 Model can
also be used to cool cabins or individual sleeping compartments of up
to 550 cubic feet on much larger vessels!
M6 Marine Air Conditioners - Power Requirements & Specifications:
This unit will run off the
new Honda eu1000i 1,000 watt portable generator, while in cool mode.
Another option is to use a Statpower 1,000 Watt Inverter and 450 amp hours
of battery power and you can anchor out (on average) for one night.
Ducting: We use 4”
ducting and recommend a minimum of 2, 4” round supply grills with this
installation. More is better! Unit Dimensions: L-16" W-11.5"
H-11.5" (left and top discharge, add 1" in length). Running Amperage:
Cool = 6.4 amps, Electric Heat = 17.5 amps, Reverse Cycle = 7.5 amps (Add
approximately one amp for the standard seawater pumps. Startup amperage is calculated by running amperage multiplied by 1.8).

Installation Kits and Options:
A complete basic installation kit including electrical connection kit, Footscoop, seacock, water strainer,
and dual ducting kit is available, as well as a deluxe kit (see list
below).
The Inverter kit and batteries are optional. (PUMP NOT INCLUDED).
All units are available in 220v for an additional $100.00, and require a
72 hour lead time.
