The M9 Boat Air Conditioning System
- Smallest Footprint 9,000 BTU Marine A/C on the Market!
This compact, powerful boat
air conditioner/heater unit is available in right, left or top discharge,
and Cool Only, Cool/Reverse Cycle Heat, or Cool/Electric Heat
configurations. In order to keep the smallest footprint on the market, the
M9 uses the same stainless steel base as the Model M6-6,500 BTU unit. The
electric heat option generates 5,640 BTU of heat and the electric heat
option is not available in 220/240 Volt configurations.
The M9 marine air
conditioning unit is designed for
cruisers up to 30' and sailboats up to 32', and can
also be used to cool cabins or individual sleeping compartments of up
to 800 cubic feet on much larger vessels!
M9 Marine Air Conditioners - Power Requirements & Specifications:
Ducting: We use 4”
and 6” ducting and recommend a minimum of 3, 4” round supply grills with
this installation. Unit Dimensions: L-16" W-11.5" H-11.5" (left and
top discharge, add 1" in length) . Running Amperage:
Cool = 7amps, Electric Heat = 17.5 amps, Reverse Cycle = 8 amps (Add
approximately one amp for the standard seawater pumps. Startup amperage is calculated by running amperage multiplied by 1.8).

Installation Kits and Options:
A complete basic installation kit including electrical connection kit, Footscoop, seacock, water strainer,
and dual ducting kit is available, as well as a deluxe kit (see list
below).
The Inverter kit and batteries are optional. (PUMP NOT INCLUDED).
All units are available in 220v for an additional $100.00, and require a
72 hour lead time.
